Hi all!
I recently installed LDMS 9.6 SP2 in my environment.
I have an issue where I am trying to use the canned Inventory Scan script to develop a customized script.
When I open the script to edit, I see the following line at the top of the Windows section:
";--- assumes that ldappl3.ini is in same dir as the .exe"
On the next line, I see that the path is located using the variable %LDMS_CLIENT_DIR%. When I look for that variable in my Environment Variables, I find two LANDESK related variables:
%LDMS_LOCAL_DIR%, which takes me to the path C:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\LDClient\Data
%LDMS_PREFERRED_SERVER%, which is self-explanatory
When I go to the ....\LDClient\Data folder, I do find the ldappl3.ini file, but I also noticed the LDISCN32.EXE file is at the root of the LDClient folder. I am guessing this is the reason I keep getting a "file not found" type of error when I run the script to run the inventory scan on a device.
Has anyone else had an issue with this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Enrique
