Schedule Task: Task Settings Frequency VS Schedule Task Repeat

Using LDMS 9.6 SP2

What is  the difference between these 2 options?

In Task Settings you can set the frequency:

And you can also set the schedule in Schedule Task:

What is the difference?

I need to run this task asap and keep trying if it fails.
