Purpose
This document outlines how to enable xTrace logging for LDMS 9.6. Enabling xTrace on the device will make the original log files more verbose allow for better troubleshooting.
Steps
- Open registry editor (regedit.exe)
- Navigate to the logXTrace key
- 32Bit OS - [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\landesk\managementsuite\LogOptions\logXTrace]
- 64Bit OS - [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\landesk\managementsuite\LogOptions\logXTrace]
- Right click logXTrace and choose Modify.
- Set Set logXTrace to have a value of 1 and click Ok.
